  • Gather feedback and insight from communities and share this with relevant teams across the Combined Authority
  • Produce short summaries and briefings highlighting community concerns, emerging issues and opportunities
  • Support engagement activity linked to regional programmes, strategies and consultations
  • Help ensure communities understand and can access opportunities connected to skills, employment, investment and regeneration initiatives
  • Work with colleagues and partner organisations to coordinate engagement activity and avoid duplication
  • Maintain records of engagement activity and stakeholder contacts using internal systems
  • Support the organisation and delivery of community engagement events and activities
  • Provide community insight to support briefings for the Mayor and senior officers where required
  • Work flexibly across Hull and East Yorkshire, including occasional evening and weekend community events

About you

We are looking for a friendly, confident and community-minded individual who is passionate about engaging with people and making a positive difference to local communities.

You will bring experience of working with residents, community groups or stakeholders and be comfortable engaging with a wide range of people from different backgrounds.
